Join us for Slow Food’s Florida Conference on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Kai Kai Farm one of our areas premier vegetable farms. This magnificent venue is a perfect location to connect with other Slow Food Members and leaders from around the state.

We will explore new concepts for your Chapter through vigorous, roundtable discussions.
We have a superb lineup of speakers to address timely issues and share fresh original solutions from both local and national perspectives.
A guided farm tour will be available

9:00 to 10:00 Florida Slow Food Governor Richard Stepp will share information from Slow Food Nations and Terra Madre along with his vision for Florida’s Slow Food Chapters. For Slow Food Leaders and supporting interests.
10:00 to 12:00 Round table discussion of what we envision for our Florida Chapters and why so many are failing. Share with each other what we see would be helpful to us in support from Slow Food USA, how we can be helpful to each other.
12:00 to 1:30 Buffet Lunch $20.00 Open to all
1:30 to 5:00 Panel discussion focusing on Florida’s Food Supply. Panels to include food producers and growers from all active chapter areas.
